Safe in Massawa, Eritrea

Aloha, Friends and Family,

We will have our anchor down shortly at about 5pm in Massawa, Eritrea, Africa today, March 9, 2005 after traveling about 402 miles from Aden, Yemen on the Arabian Peninsula in 2 days and 8.5 hours, with winds of 25-35 knots, gusting 40 knots and 1-2 knots of current with us through the Bab el Mandeb Straits from the Gulf of Aden into the Red Sea.

We also need to send this out so you are able to get through the new spam guard on the winlink system. That also means that if you change your email address, you need to write us from the old one, otherwise, your new address will be rejected. We will write more updates about our passage, Massawa, Yemen and Oman soon.

Keep in touch. Be safe. God Bless!

With Love, Peace and Aloha,
Ellen, David, Jason and Eric
