Aloha and G'day, Mates,

We are back at the Mooloolaba Yacht Club and very busy (so what is new?) preparing for a visit with Julie and Chris on Wednesday, November 5. We are excited about showing them a small portion of this huge beautiful country! We have promised them a visit to Australia Zoo to see the Crocodile Man, koalas, kangaroos, and salt water crocodiles. We also want to show them the beautiful birds, lorikeets, black cockatoos, and golahs, which are always flying overhead as we take our afternoon walk.

Today we are celebrating Eric's birthday! Since his birthday in Florida in 1999, we have always been on passage for his special day: 2000 - to Los Aves Islands, 2001 - Tonga to New Zealand via Minerva Reef, 2002 - Noumea, New Caledonia to Scarborough, Australia!

We enjoyed our trip down the coast from Cairns, especially in the Whitsunday. Unfortunately, we never seem to have enough time to spend as much time as we would like in all these different anchorages. When we arrived back in Bundaberg we completed our round trip to the Louisiades, sailing ......nautical miles, plus.....miles back to Mooloolaba for a total of....from June 5 to October 22. Our present plans (always caste in jello!)are to remain here in Mooloolaba making ready to sail to Thailand after cyclone season. We will travel back for a short visit on Maui in February, a visit with David's parents, and then to Colorado to be there for the birth of our GRANDSON whom is due to make his grand appearance on March 6. We will start heading northing probably about May 1 after have bottom work completed in Bundaberg.

We love to hear from all of you and promise to answer all your emails after Julie and Chris depart on November 15. We are more behind than usual since we were making day sails down the coast, leaving an anchorage at 5am and anchoring about 5:30! Not much time to spend on the computer! We were more interested in watching the dolphins swimming and jumping in our bow wave or shocked expression on Eric's face, when a whale surfaced and blew about 10 feet from our stern while he was actually steering!

We will also be updating the website at www.peaceandaloha.com in the next few months. We also would love to receive Christmas cards, especially with pictures! Our address until April will be:
